How Mybizna checks sellers
The mark and every number on a Mybizna storefront are either checked by us or counted from real orders. Sellers cannot edit them.
- Verified seller
- The green mark by the shop’s name. The seller showed a national ID or passport and a selfie holding it, reviewed by a person, and their payouts go to an account in that same name, or in their registered business’s name: our payment partner shows us whose account it is (for M-Pesa, the first name and initials), and where a name differs or it cannot tell, we check it ourselves. We keep the outcome, the document type, the name on it, its last four digits and a one-way fingerprint of its number, so we can spot one ID behind several shops; the photos are deleted once reviewed. A shop without the mark has not finished these checks yet.
- Orders completed
- Orders delivered or collected through Mybizna. Sellers cannot type this number; it is counted from real orders.
- % delivered
- Of orders sent out for delivery, the share marked delivered: by the rider or the seller when they hand it over, or by the buyer from their own page. A paid order nobody marks, and the buyer has not reported, is marked delivered three days after its delivery window. An order cancelled after it went out counts against it. Shown only after 20 deliveries so a new seller is not judged on one bad week.
- Selling since
- The month of the seller’s first completed order on Mybizna, or the month they joined before one.
- Pay on delivery
- You pay the rider when your order arrives. New sellers start with small limits that grow as they verify who they are.
If something goes wrong
Every order page has a way to report a problem to us. We never hold your money: pay-on-delivery is paid to the rider, and M-Pesa and card payments go through our licensed payment partner, Paystack.
